Yr2 Trip to Nower Wood

On Tuesday 28th February, Year 2 went to Nower Wood nature reserve, part of the Surrey Wildlife Trust. It was a cold day but the children absolutely loved it! They found a variety of mini-beasts, completed a blindfold trail, found a variety of creatures through pond dipping and went on a tree identification walk. The children were very well behaved and used their knowledge from previous science lessons on this trip. The volunteers who ran the three sessions were amazed by the children’s understanding of animals and their habitats!
