Rowan class were lucky enough to be able to explore some WW2 RAF memorabilia. Chloe’s family were very kind to offer for Rowan class students to explore some WW” RAF medals, a replica Spitfire cockpit and a remade Spitfire control panel. Children were amazed to see how intricate and complex the control panel was and couldn’t comprehend how pilots would have been able to fly their planes, let alone try to shoot down others and evade the Jerry’s (German’s) bullets.
